Enable / Disable Windows 7 NTFS Page File Encryption

By enabling the NTFS page file encryption, the system will help to protect the computer from malicious users from reading the data which has been paged to the disk. The encryption will also adds the processing overhead for filesystem operations.

Open the Local Group Policy Editor and browse to the following trees,

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration
> Administrative Templates > System > Filesystem > NTFS

On the right panel screen, double click on Enable NTFS pagefile encryption. Choose Enabled to enable or Disabled to disable.
