How to Install EPM Add-in for MS Office from SAP BPC 10 Netweaver Version

1. Execute transaction code SE38. In the Program field, enter UJ0_FILE_UPLOAD and click Execute.

2.The FILE UPLOAD window opens. In the Option and version section , select the type of update you want to perform depending on whether or not the support package is mandatory.

3. In the Option and version section , select the type of update you want to perform depending on whether or not the support package is mandatory.

4. In the File version field:

• Enter the EPM Add-in.exe version number while you select Full Installer type in Installer type field;
• Enter the .msp version number while you select Update file type in Installer type field; (The EPM Addin Patch <version_number>.msp file is used only to update earlier versions of the installed EPM Add-in client, it is not possible to install the .msp file without a previous installation of the EPM Add-in client.)

(Note : In File version field , the number will determine which file would be the “update file”,since only the biggest number will be loaded and executed.)

5. In the Installer type filed:

• Update file type is used to upload .msp file.
• Full Installer type is used to upload .exe file.

6. In .NET Version filed:

• .NET3.5
• .NET4.0 :Now EPM Add-in for .Net 4.0 can not be upgraded, only uninstalled and re-installed.Please follow the instructions in the central release note for each version for upgrading EPM Add-in for .NET 4.0 version.

7. In the Upload section,click Browse to select and then click Upload. The Enter Transport Request dialog box opens. Click on new icon.

8. The Select Request Type dialog box opens. Click the Customizing Request option and validate.

9. The Create Request dialog box opens. Enter a short description text and click the Save icon.

10. Back in the Enter Transport Request dialog box,click the Validate icon.

11.Once the transport has been created,open the Transport Management System.

12.In the Import Queue of your system,select the transport you created and click Import.
