
Symptom
The error “Select one of the installed languages” can be found/occurred during
• During the SAP system logon, which you have specify the wrong/not installed language
• In transaction code SMQ1, SMQ2 for inbound and outbound queues
• In transaction code SM58
Solution
1. All above error can be justified when you are specifying a correct/installed language during the system logon.
2. By default, the language is set to EN / DE. Normally, it should be EN. If the error just happened to > 5 users. Go to transaction code SU01. Check on the default language assigned to the user.
3. Execute report RSCPINST from transaction code SE38. Click on simulate. Once the simulation executed. Drill down and find below information. Ensure the parameter zcsa/installed_languages is properly maintained and the consistency check is fulfill.
Required profile parameter modifications:
RSCPINST does NOT change the value of profile parameter.
Please check the value of below parameter(s) after activation.
1) Please update zcsa/installed_languages.
e.g. Copy the new value and paste it into a field in transaction RZ1
