
Stop SAP System
1. Open SAPMMC. Highlight the SAP system. Go to Action > Stop.
2. Next, you will be prompted will Shutdown type, Hard or Soft. Choose Hard if you want immediately stop the system or Soft to drains the SAP instances first. But, if the timeout is reached, the operation continues as in a hard shutdown.
3. Before you can stop an SAP instance, the WebService will pop up a user authentication. Fill in the OS user and password to continue the stopping process.
4. The SAP system is successfully stop when the instances be in gray color.
Start SAP System
1. Go to Action > Start. Set the SAP system start timeout. The timeout will define how long to wait for an SAP instance to start. If the timeout period is reached the remaining SAP instances are not started.
2. Before you can start an SAP instance, the WebService will pop up a user authentication. Fill in the OS user and password to continue the starting process.
3. Check for process list and work process.Verify the all process are running.
4. The SAP system is successfully started when the SAP is in green color status.
i accidently deleted console root sub tree,how can i get it back
