You are in the midst of installing (btw, it’s the prerequisites checker stage) the SAP system on Windows Server 2012/R2 environment. Unfortunately, below error message coming out,

New Continuous Availability feature on Windows Server 2012/R2 can result in long waiting times. Please apply Microsoft KB 2820470 http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2820470. (Updated 2014-10-01)

Basically, the instructions are as below (please go through above links documents for better understanding)

1. Open the Registry Editor (regedit) and locate the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkStation\Parameters

2. Go to Edit menu, point to New and click DWORD Value. Type DisableCARetryOnInitialConnect.

3. Right click DisableCARetryOnInitialConnect and click Modify. In the Value data box, type 1 and click OK.

4. Exit the Registry Editor and restart your Windows operating system.
