There is a option provided by SAP to check the SAP GUI installation. To proceed with this, you need to open the SAP Logon and go for Options menu.
In the SAP GUI Options dialog box, click on System Information. Then, click on Check SAP GUI Installation.
Click on Next to start the checking.
The checking process is now begin. The process is really fast which will only take up less than 1 minute.
The checking is complete. The result will notify you on the status – example as below. You can click on Error Report link to see the logs.
Workstation Check has detected 8 error(s) in the installation of SAP Front-End components on this computer
The Error Report will show you the details and you can use this information to analyze further. Please be noted that some of the errors can be ignore and some may need to be fix. The information will be useful to SAP personnel if you are planning to raise ticket to them.
