Parameter
rdisp/use_snc_refresh
Short text
Use SNC refresh after soft cancel
Parameter Description
In the case of Single Sign-On (SSO) logons, the connection between SAP GUI and servers is monitored using Secure Network Communication (SNC). In addition to authorization, this also includes the integrity of the data. If, for example, a sent data packet is not received by a partner, this leads to an SNC error. If a request is terminated using a soft cancel (for example, if “Stop Transaction” is chosen from the menu), it is possible that data packets already sent to the server are skipped. To avoid this leading to an SNC error and allow the session to be continued, the SNC context can be refreshed. This usually requires a number of roundtrips with the SAP GUI. This parameter configures whether the SNC context refresh should be used.
