Should the host name be used for the old update key format?
Parameter Description
Normally a UUID is generated for the key of an update request. However, some DB systems use the old version of the update key to improve performance when storing and accessing update requests (see parameters dynp/luw_id_format and rdisp/vb_key_comp). The host name of the generating server is an element of the old update key format.
