
If you are in the middle of typing a UNIX or Linux password but suddenly you have mistyped the incorrect password. If you push the enter button, the system will prompt that you have entered a wrong password or your account will be lock (if the login retries is exceeded). Yups, you can clear the incorrect password that you have entered by pressing the CTRL + U key. Immediately after the CTRL + U key, you can retype the entry while at the same prompt.
