You have wrongly maintained the incorrect installation number for your SAP system in the SAP support portal. Now, you want to change it to the correct installation number. The same step is applicable for changing customer number as well.
1. First of all, open the SAP launchpad and search the system SID.
2. Click on the 3 dot and choose Reassign. You must have appropriate authorization to be able to execute these activities.
3. Select the Installation (or Customer) Number from the drop down list. To save, click on Reassign System. It will automatically update and you are done!
