The transaction code DB15 helps you to schedule data archiving using the following functions:
- Find archiving objects that delete records from a specified database table.
- List Tables accessed when using a specific archiving object:
- Tables with deletion: Data from these tables is written to archive files and removed from the database during a delete session.
- All tables: All tables are listed, including those from which data is to be archived without deletion.
- Display space information for those tables included in archiving (or for the specific table selected)
- Goto archive administration to start or schedule data archiving using the archiving object found.
You use the relevant radio button on the left to switch between the object list at the top of the screen and the table list at the bottom of the screen. Screen output is not updated until the data is released (choose ENTER).
