Indexes ABC and DEF for table XYZ have identical fields

Diagnosis
Since both indexes contain the same fields, one of the two is unnecessary.
Procedure
Delete one of the two indexes. If you get this message during an upgrade, you probably created an index in the customer name range which is already contained in the standard for the new release. In this case you should delete the customer index on the database and in the ABAP Dictionary before continuing with the upgrade.
