There are 2 scenario involved when you want to send email on the SM37 spool output.
- New job, from transaction code SM36
- Existing job, from transaction code SM37
New SM36 Job
In transaction code SM36, define the job name and other required information. Next, click on the spool list recipient.
From the dialog box, enter the recipient email address. Define the general attributes and confirmation based on your requirement (via Address tab).
Click Copy to apply the changes.
Existing SM37 Jobs
For the existing jobs in SM37, you can only change those jobs that are in “scheduled” , “released” or “ready” status.
From the top menu, click on Job > Change. You can follow the same steps as above for SM36 new jobs.
Note: Please ensure the email functionality is enabled in your SAP system.
