Definition
A message was sent from the application with the option ‘Direct Send’. This means that message is not sent externally by the usual send process, rather it is assigned a separate send process that is triggered automatically and immediately.
Use
Messages with the option “direct send” are also put in the queue, but they are read from there immediately. In the queue, they are given a special mark, so that they are not processed by the usual send process if it happens to be running precisely at that moment.
Status ‘Waiting for direct send’ can be a normal interim status, however it should only occur very briefly. If it keeps this status for longer, this means that an unexpected error has occurred in the program flow. You can send a message of this nature from the send request overview, by choosing the function ‘Start Send Process for Selection’.
