SAP Enable Now offers the Cloud solution in different Data Centers around the world. This tests pings a URL in each Data Center and shows you the response time in milliseconds (ms).
The one with the shortest time is the best choice for your location.
- Access the Infocenter link https://enable-now.sap.com/ic/auth/ext/index.html?show=group!GR_F8BA0FC968CD2EB9#group!GR_EAE14E226A61B188
- The page will load a test file from different data centers and measure the response time to find your best option. It will run 3 times and show the average response time.
- Click on Parallel or Serial, wait until you get a result, make a screen shot and save it.
- Parallel is fast but uses more bandwidth by starting all downloads at the same time.
- Serial is much slower but will use much less bandwidth since there is always only one active connection.
