Maximum size of the shared memory available for each process, in 256MB blocks

Parameter Description

SAP manages a large number of files in shared memory, such as EM, the PXA buffer, table buffers, and so on. You can specify the size, in 256MB blocks, of the shared memories made available by the OS to each work process using the parameter as4/MAXSHR64. The maximum value of this parameter is 4096 = 1TB. The default value of the OS  is 256 = 64GB.
