Parameter Description
This parameter defines how many asynchronous requests, maximum, can be issued one after the other. If this value is exceeded, the subsequent asynchronous requests are converted to synchronous requests by the enqueue client. If the value of this profile parameter is set to 0, the enqueue client converts all asynchronous requests to synchronous requests.
Enqueue clients can send asynchronous requests to standalone enqueue server 2. If asynchronous requests are sent too fast one after the other, an overflow can occur in the communication buffer. This can also cause requests to be lost.
Application Area
The value in this parameter will only be used if standalone enqueue server 2 is used; see enq/enable.
