Sometime, the jobs in transaction code SM37 are not been updated. Due to this, some Finished and Cancelled jobs will remains in Active status – even though the actual status are Finished or Cancelled. So, to eliminate and update those jobs, you can follow below steps.
In transaction code SM37, you can define and check the job current status by choose the job and go to Job > Check status.
The selected job will be processed and notification will appears saying that the “1 jobs were checked and 0 jobs were corrected”.
