Symptom
Whenever you wanted to execute transaction code SMGW, you’ll be getting below error, ” Connection could not be Established to Local Gateway”.
Solution
1. Restart the gateway services from operating system level (Windows) or (UNIX/Linux).
or
2. Restart the instance.
