1. Go to System > Status. Under SAP System data, you can find the Unicode or Non Unicode status type.
2. You can also run function module TR_GET_IS_UNICODE_SYSTEM in transaction code SE37 or report RSCPINST in transaction code SE38 to get the status on UNICODE or NON UNICODE.
