Symptom
BR0978W Database profile alert - level: WARNING, parameter: OPTIMIZER_INDEX_COST_ADJ, value: 20 (set in parameter file)
Solution
1. Always refer to SAP Note which related to Oracle parameter recommendation. Please follow on the Oracle version respectively. Ensure your database is OLAP or OLTP
2. Once step 1 fulfill, go to transaction code DB17. Search for keyword OPTIMIZER_INDEX_COST_ADJ, adjust the value accordingly as per SAP Note and your Oracle version. Below example is for Oracle 11g
