
In SAP CRM environment, you have to use a special Support Package Manager to control the Support Package import procedure, because special pre and postprocessing tasks are necessary in a BBPCRM system.
When you are executing transaction code SPAM, you will prompted “Use the special Support Package Manager for BBPCRM (see menu Environment)” at the bottom line of your SAP CRM GUI.
Solution
To start the CRM Support Package Manager, execute transaction code SPAM in client 000. Then, go to Environment > Support Package Manager for EBP/CRM. You can now start the support package import as per Wizard instruction.
The support package steps are the same as normal support package.
