Transaction code DB59 is used to display the overview of all MaxDB and liveCache database instances that are integrated into SAP system landscape.
Functions
• A list of all integrated database instances, with detailed information on each database instance.
• You can open the Database Assistant and the liveCache Assistant. To do this, choose Goto > Assistant.
• You can check the consistency of the integration data, and test connections to all application servers.
• You can display and change the integration data of the database instances. To do this, choose Edit > Integration Data > Display/Change (Change Connection DB OLTP/liveCache).
• You can create new integration data. To do this, choose Edit > Integration Data > Enter (Create Connection DB OLTP/liveCache).
• You can generate your own views of complex system landscapes by creating appropriate filters.
