Couldn’t connect to DB: The Network Adapter couldn’t establish connection

You tried to bringing up the SAP system which installed in Oracle database environment but stuck with below error. From the JdbcCon.log,

> more /home/sidadm/JdbcCon.log
Start: Wed Jul 17 05:26:52 CEST 2013

Error: Couldn't connect to DB
com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Exception of type java.sql.SQLException caught: 
The Network Adapter could not establish the connection.

Solution

1. Check the listener status. Ensure the listener is up and running.
