SAP Product Availability Matrix (PAM)

Product Availability Matrix (PAM) bundles technical and release planning information on SAP software product versions for quick reference. There you can find information on software product versions´ availability dates (e.g. RTC and GA date), maintenance end dates and upgrade paths, as well as technical release information (DB platforms, operating systems etc.). Technical release information for a software product version is displayed per product instance.

So, how to use PAM?

Log in the http://service.sap.com/pam. On the initial page, click on Display All Product Versions.

In this screen, you can locate the product version and filter the selections. In this example, we are going to look up the information of SAP Solution Manager 7.1. From the search result, click on SAP Solution Manager 7.1

The initial screen will show the General Information tab which consist of the following information,

• Product details
• Release plan
• Related product versions
• Support package stacks

PAM - Details & Dates

The next tab is, Technical Release Information. This tab is really resourceful for user who want to perform the SAP upgrades or installations. You can verify the compatible and supported languages, databases, operating system, JSE, Web Browsers and Web Servers platforms.

The SAP Software Download Center will show you the links of installation, upgrades, support packages and patches files.

Finally, the System Data tab. This tab will list out any installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1 in your company.
