SPAM: IMPORT_PROPER – TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY

Your support packages upgrade has been interrupted with below error,

Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
Return code: 0008
Error message: Pkgs. in queue don”t exist in the tp buffer (e.g. SAPKxxxxx)

Solution

!!! You need to open OSS message to SAP !!!

Below steps are not advisable from SAP. Use this method at your own risk!

1. Reset the queue status.

2. Clear all the contents from usr\sap\tmp\ directory (Make sure you backup the folder before delete).

3. Kill all the tp & R3trans process from running.

4. Restart the import.
