
The search save in Windows 7 is really useful to user who regularly search for certain group of files.
1. Open the Windows 7 search (Windows logo + F button). Perform a search. Wait till the search is completed and click on Save search.

2. Save the search file.

3. A shortcut to the saved search will be added to the Favorites section of the navigation pane. The search itself will be saved in the Searches folder (located in your personal folder under Computer). So, in future, you can just click on the saved search file and the list of search results will appear.
