You have installed SAP system with MSSQL Server database and you plan to backup the SAP system using disk. But, in transaction code DB13, you found that there is no option to save the backup onto disk. You can only see 3 backup device tape configured for MSSQL Server (R3DUMP0, R3DUMP1 & R3DUMP2).
Solution
1. You need to add the backup device using the MSSQL Server Management Studio. Set the save location as in file/disk.
2. Execute transaction code DB13. Under Backup & Recovery, double click on Backup Device. You will see the new backup device there. You can start the backup to disk!
