You can use this BTCAUX10 report to schedule jobs with a last execution date/time or an execution time frame. This is not possible using transaction SM36 or the Job API.
Activities
Fill out the desired report parameters and execute the report. The system then generates a job with two steps. The first contains the report BTCAUX10, and the second contains the program specified in the field “Report”. BTCAUX10 generates a successor job based on the specified period values.
Note that the successor job is not periodic job in the sense of background processing. If BTCAUX10 terminates for some reason before generating the successor job, the periodic chain is interrupted.
