Symptom
You are doing an upgrade / maintenance on SAP but get stuck on below error,
“Cannot construct a support package stack from file stack.xml. Stack definition file stack.xml contains no applicable stacks.”
Solution
You have to double check the components, product version on LMDB and regenerate the stack.xml file. Do not manually edit the stack.xml file!
If you already generated a stack.xml for development and plan to do it on quality or production system (under 1 landscape). You may use report RPT_MOPZ_COPY_STACK_XML on Solution Manager. The report will create the copy of stack.xml file which will be usable for the quality and production system. So, you won’t need to generate another stack.xml file from MOPZ.
