Choose Default (Always Use) Program to Open File in Windows

In Windows environment, you can define the default program to open any specific file, so in future, whenever you open the same type file, it will use the defined program. As an example, you want to display an JPG image file using PhotoScape software and you wanted the same other JPG image files will automatically open via PhotoScape.

To do this, right click on the JPG file and go to Open With and select Choose default program.

On the Open with screen, select the PhotoScape software. If you cannot find the software (program) listed, you can search on Other Programs. If still not found, you may need to search from the Browse. Once found, click on the program and select the option “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”. Press OK and you are done!
