cPanel:The security token is missing from your request

You are getting The security token is missing from your request notification while accessing your cPanel administration page.

Solution

Basically, this is not an error. It’s just a warning which you can definitely ignore. There are possibility that causing this warning,

• You are accessing your cPanel administration page from a bookmark or browser history.

• You are accessing your cPanel with multiple session. The security token will get invalidated when there are mismatch of cPanel sessions (1 session is logged off and 1 session is still logged on).

You can log in again to resolve the warnings.

Your security token will be updated.

  1. it didn’t work. I am logged out of everything, and I typed the URL in the browser…trying to log into a URL/webmail address, and instead I wind up with a redirect to URL/:2082 at end of URL instead of webmail address, and the error “security token is missing from your request” …irritating.
