In transaction code DBACOCKPIT > Diagnostics > Missing Tables and Indexes, you find many indexes listed as “Indexes not created” under “Optional indexes”.
Solution
As stated in both SAP Notes,
- 2479381 – dbacockpit shows “Indexes not created” for optional indexes
- 2441080 – DB02 shows “Indexes not created” for optional indexes for Hana DB
Those indexes exist at DDIC level but they are optional at DB level. What you see in “Optional Indexes” is not warning or error, just information with green check symbol, it’s safe to ignore this information.
