How to Download Files from SAP Service Marketplace

SAP stored all the files – installation, support packages and patches in the SAP Service Marketplace. So, if you have been asked to do the SAP upgrades or installations, then you need to download the files from this place.

Every SAP customers and partners were given with an S-ID to access the SAP Service Marketplace. If you not received it, please request from SAP.

Open the SAP Service Marketplace website and log in with the S-ID. Then, click on Software Downloads or you can jump directly using http://service.sap.com/swdc link.

There are 3 main category of SAP Software Download Center. From here, you can select the category specifically based on your needs.

• Support Packages and Patches
• Installation and Upgrades
• Database and Database Patches

To further refine your search, you can use the following options,

SAP recommended entry point for Support Packages and Patches or Installations and Upgrades, lists the software your company is licensed for plus additional software that’s available to you with the compliments of SAP.

A–Z Index
Provides you with alphabetical links to help you find your licensed software. Note that there are separate indices depending on the type of software you need: Support Packages and Patches, Installations and Upgrades and the Archive for Support Packages and Patches.

Browse our Download Catalog
Good option for new users. Here you can select a group of applications, products or components and then drill down within that grouping to find your software.

Search
Good option when you know the exact file you need.

Now, you have found the files to download. But, how to download them? OK, select the file (or, you can select multiple files) and choose Add to Download Basket.

Set SAP Files to Download

A pop up will appear with the notification, Download basket request for update has been processed. Total number of objects added to Download Basket and available for download x . Click on Close.

Next, open the SAP Download Manager. You will see the list of files selected earlier and you can start downloading now!
