Internet Explorer SmartScreen filter is a feature from Microsoft to help protecting users from the phishing websites. This functionality will prevent users from getting (downloading and installing) malicious software.
You can enable the SmartScreen filter as below,
Open the Internet Explorer Tools (or use the keyboard button, ALT + X). Select Internet options.
Go to Advanced tab and tick the option “Enable SmartScreen Filter”.
Just press the OK and you are done!
