After the SAP system migration, you realized that the host ID from transaction code SMQS is still pointing to the old SAP system. You want to change the Host ID to the new SAP system server.
Solution
Host Name Buffer Refresh
In transaction code SM51, from the top menu, select Goto > Host Name Buffer > Reset > Entire System.
Scheduler Reactivation
In transaction code SMQS, from the top menu, click on Edit > Activate scheduler (Ctrl+F5).
Note:
- 2915187 – SMQS Host ID is blank or empty
- 2377064 – How to correct the host ID in SMQS
- For SMQR, you need to perform the “Reorganize”, then only the host ID will be changed.
