You wanted to determine the total of work processes in your SAP system.
Basically, you can capture the information from the transaction code SM50. From there, you will see the total number of work processes. This is only for 1 application server, what about if you have multiple application servers, like 10 as an example.
So, to achieve this with the multiple application servers, go to transaction code RZ04 and click on Instances/operation modes.
As for below screenshot, the work processes for each server is 40 and we have 6 application servers. So, total work processes are 160 for the SAP system.
