In some cases, you might have to reset, undo or revert (whatever term it is!) the SAP note installed in your SAP system.
Step 1: Go the transaction code SNOTE. From the top menu, select Goto > SAP Note Browser (or use shortcut, CTRL+F9).

Step 2: Enter the SAP note number and press on Execute (F8).

Step 3: You will see the SAP note which was installed in the system. From the SAP Note menu, select Reset SAP Note Implementation (CTRL + F2).

Step 4: Click OK.

Step 5: Check the object statuses and click OK to confirm.

Step 6: Click OK again.

Step 7: Once the reset is done, you will see the SAP note status as “Can be implemented” which means you have successfully revert the SAP note from the system.

I have a question here. Does the “Reset SAP Note” gives an option to create a TR?
Usually, implementing a note in DEV creates a TR and assume the TR has moved to QA.
Now how can we revert the changes in QA? Will the “Reset SAP Note” option creates a new TR where the note changes are undone and can be moved to QA?
