NWA: Certificate has an invalid public key algorithm

You try to add a trusted system in Netweaver Administrator Trusted Systems, but get the below error,

Certificate has an invalid public key algorithm

Solution

As stated in SAP Note 2342500 – Certificate has an invalid public key algorithm,

SAP Logon Tickets for SSO must be created with DSA algorithm and not RSA alogrithm. 
You can check that the certificate was created with RSA by looking in the New trusted system: 
Review section and SSO2 Cerfiticate details. You will see entries like:

[Sign Algorithm]: SHA/RSA
[Public-Key Algorithm]: RSA

The next action is to recreate the key pair on the system you want to trust and use the DSA algorithm.
