Timeout for pooled Java VMs

Parameter Description

This parameter defines the time period after which a Java VM of the VMC (Virtual Machine Container) that is in the pool can be deleted again. However this only takes place if the minimum number of VMs in the pool is not exceeded by the parameter rdisp/min_jvm.

Parameter Unit

The time can be defined for every VM type. You can specify the time value with or without a time unit. If you do not specify a time unit, seconds is used as the unit. Otherwise, you can specify M for minutes, H for hours, or D for day. There can be spaces between the value and the unit.

Examples

SERVLET=1800, RFC=1800 1800 seconds for servlet and RFC VMs

RFC=40 M 40 minutes for RFC VMs
