When you launch the Windows Remote Desktop Connection, the following warning message appears. Although you can still proceed to open the RDP session, the warning continues to pop up every time you attempt to launch it.
It’s a bit annoying, and you’d like to eliminate the error message for good.
Solution
Navigate to the location of the default.rdp file, which in this case is C:\Users\ITsiti\Documents. To locate the file, you’ll need to enable the option to show hidden items, as the Default.rdp file is hidden and won’t be visible otherwise.
Once you’ve found the file, delete it.
After doing so, you can launch the Remote Desktop Connection again, and the error message should no longer appear.
