Parameter Description
Specifies the SID (system ID) of the database server.

Who is permitted to make changes?
Should not be altered. The parameter is set to a default value automatically: rsdb/dbid =$(SAPSYSTEMNAME). The parameter should be altered only if your naming of the database and SAP System does not follow the SAP standard.
