By default, the Windows Remote Desktop Connection will automatically reconnect if the connection is dropped. You can also disable this option if you wanted!
Open the Remote Desktop Connection and click on Show Options. Go to Experience tab. To enable or disable the option, just select / deselect the Reconnect if the connection is dropped.
