The VirtualBox cannot be start up due to the following error,
Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.
The application will now terminate
Start tag expected, ‘<‘ not found.
Location:’C:\Users\Administrator/.VirtualBox\VirtualBox.xml, line 1 (0), column 1.
Solution
Go to the mentioned directory (from the error screenshot). You will find the VirtualBox.xml and VirtualBox.xml-prev files. Replace the VirtualBox.xml-prev to VirtualBox.xml file.
You can now start the VirtualBox without errors!
