You are using VMware workstation and getting below error message when connecting to the internet.
Solution
Below are the workarounds you can follow from your end,
Workaround 1
- You can try to Disable and Enabled the ethernet.
- Use Diagnose function to perform the Windows Network Diagnostics.
Workaround 2
Shutdown the virtual machine if it’s running. Open the Virtual Machine settings. Go to Network Adapter.
Under network connection, select the option “Replicate physical network connection state” under the Bridged: Connected directly to the physical network.
Bring up the virtual machine and see if you can connect to the internet now!
