Before get started, ensure your ID has been granted with the developer access key.
1. Execute transaction code SE80. Under the Repository Browser, choose Program and enter the program name. Under the Object Name, double click on the program name.
2. Now, from the top menu, select Goto > Attributes.
3. Switch to change mode and you can now rename the ABAP program name description. Once done, save!
