Title
Report for Deleting Change Documents, that already belong to the sales documents deleted from the system.
Purpose
Normally change documents used in archiving are removed from the database along with the relevant sales documents. If, however, the sales document is deleted, the related change document remains permanently in the system, because it is no longer affected by archiving.
It is therefore requested that deletion of a sales document is comprehensive; the database should not be burdened with documents that are no longer needed.
The report allows deletion of change documents for deleted sales documents. Unassigned change documents for billing documents cannot be taken into consideration.
Prerequisites
If possible start the report at a time when there are not many users in the system.
Selection
You can restrict selection of the change documents to be deleted using document numbers. It is also possible to enter selection criteria for the point at which the last document change was made. This means that, for example, only change documents from old transactions can be deleted.
If the test indicator is set, only the deletable change documents are determined, and no database changes are carried out.
Authorization to delete change documents is required for successfully running the program (authorization object S_SCD0, Activity 06).
Output
The report gives statistics on the number of deletable or deleted change documents per document category.
