
Report RLFW_SD_NOTIFY_USERS is used to send a popup message to specified users. You can execute the report using transaction code SE38.

Prerequisites
You must have POPU authority in S_ADMI_FCD of authority object S_ADMI_FCD when profile parameter rdisp/th_popup/strict_check is set to ‘1’.
Selection
“Users” group
- “Server Name” field can be used to select users on specific application servers. No selection means all the servers will be taken into account.
- “Client” field can be used to specify clients. No selection means all the client will be taken into account.
- “User Name” field can be used to pinpoint exact users. No selection means all the users will be taken into account. Your name appears in the field as default.
“Message” group
- You can specify a message here. The length must be equal or shorter than 40 characters.
“Operation Mode” group
- No change will be made if “Test Mode” checkbox is checked. Users to receive a message out will be shown. These users are restricted to the ones on the current application servers.
Output
A simple message will be written on the screen. There are three kinds of messages:
- Successful.
- Authority error. This message will be written when you have no authority to send a message.
- Communication error. This message will be written when an attempt to send a message to users on another application server has failed due to a communication problem.
