RSCPSET_PARAM: Maintain I18n System Parameters

Purpose

The report RSCPSET_PARAM is used to maintain system parameters used for Internationalization (I18n) functions.

Integration

This report can be accessed via transaction I18n.

Features

You can maintain the following parameters:

  • alternate_datfm
    • You can define which alternate (non-Gregorian) date format is used in a date picker. See SAP note 2192247 for details.
  • alv_calendar
    • You can define which date picker (switchable between Gregorian and Islamic calendar or not) is used. See SAP note 2192247 for details.
  • bidi_ctrl_filter
    • You can enable the filtering of invisible BIDI formatting characters in Dynpro input fields.
  • cal_conv_years
    • Normally Fiscal Years are not converted from Gregorian to Islamic years, even when the user’s date format is set to an Islamic date format. This parameter can be used to switch the conversion (not recommended). For details see SAP note 1052359.
  • cf_as_hidedinfo
    • Shall no longer be used.
  • charset_for_doc
    • Shall no longer be used.
  • normalize_input
    • Input can be normalized when storing it into database to avoid semantically equivalent differences. See note 1428423 for details.
  • otf_old_bidi
    • Shall no longer be used.
  • otf_st_length_49
    • Shall be used only in cases described in SAP note 822634.
  • print_indic_digits
    • You can enable / disable the printing of Arabic-Indic digits instead of European digits. See SAP note 842887 for details.
  • pua_spec_frontend
    • Shall no longer be used.
  • rtlinltr
    • You can enable printing of Arabic characters in documents that use left-to-right layout. See note 587150 for details.
  • sapscript_editor
    • MSWord is the default editor for Sapscript documents (see note 742662). You can deactivate it with this parameter.
  • smartforms_editor
    • MSWord is the default editor for Smartforms documents (see note 742662). You can deactivate it with this parameter.
  • utf8gui
    • Shall no longer be used in Unicode systems. See note 447519 for details.
