You can use report RSUSR_CHECK_ROLE_ASSIGNMENTS to find roles that are assigned several times for a number of users.
Use transaction code SE38 to execute the report. You can enter the specific user ID here or leave it blank to search for all users. It will take some time if there are many users involved.
